The architecture of collaboration (arc of collab)

The architecture of collaboration is a living design that holds the structures we move within. In every great system there is an orderly back office that makes it simple to find information and makes it easy to collaborate. The arc of collab is the back office. This is where you will find the excel sheets. Regardless of how free and self-organised we dream of being, there is a little need for an excel sheet or two. We have tried to keep it to a minimum because behind every excel sheet there is someone who needs to administrate it.
On that note please bare in mind - always question the system. Can it be more simple? How can it empower you and be in service of you rather than vice versa?

The fundament for a successful collaboration depends on how well do you trust yourself and others in the house. In some ways how you design the arc of collab is the litmus test of a Lab. How much trust do you put into the arc of collab and how much structure, rules and roles do you put into the architecture? Something to think about in general.
